Publication of KCH-SOE GHG Emissions Baseline Report

As part of Kumul Consolidated Holdings (KCH) commitment towards driving Environmental, Social and Governance agenda, we are pleased to share an important milestone achieved in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This initiative is integral to our KCH strategy and is also aligned to enhance our capabilities in greenhouse gas (GHG) measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV).

KCH has supported the development of operational GHG emissions baselines, not only for our operations but also for three State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) – PNG Ports Pty Ltd, PNG Power Pty Ltd, and the National Development Bank (NDB).

The detailed report provides comprehensive baselines of GHG emissions for each entity. This critical work lays the groundwork for future initiatives aimed at managing and reducing emissions across our operations and those of our subsidiaries. The data presented within this report serve as a foundation for informed decision-making and strategic policy development toward sustainable and climate-resilient practices.

This report underscores our dedication to the sustainable development of Papua New Guinea’s key infrastructure sectors.
