Parkop KuruaExecutive Manager – SOE’s and SOE Projects
Parkop has 25 years of professional experience working in the banking & finance industry prior to joining KCH in 2009. He has held various management roles and served as the Shareholders Representative (non-voting member) on the Boards of PNG Power, Air Niugini, Post PNG, National Development Bank, Eda Ranu and Water PNG during his tenure at KCH. He also represented KCH on a number of Government Task Forces on industries specific to policy engagements. His experience are in areas of strategic management, program development, infrastructure project planning and management, and project finance. He currently oversees Water PNG, PNG Ports Corporation and PNG Power. He also manages the Ramu 2 Hydropower transaction and other infrastructure projects in collaboration with the SOEs.
Bernard ThomasExecutive Manager – SOE’s and SOE Projects
Bernard joined KCH in December 2014 as Chief Financial Auditor after a 20 year career with private accounting firms, including six years with Ela Motors as Accounting Manager and a decade with Air Niugini as Financial Controller. In December 2017, he was given a new role as Executive Manager overseeing KCH interests in telecommunications and aviation portfolios through Kumul Telikom Holdings, its subsidiaries and Air Niugini.
Bernard holds a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wollongong, Australia; and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy, Accounting and Finance from PNG University of Technology.
Nehemaiah NarisExecutive Manager – Investments
Nehemaiah joined KCH in 2013 from the National Petroleum Company PNG (now Kumul Petroleum Holdings). He has experience in high-level transactions in energy (power), oil and gas, as well as telecommunication projects in PNG. His expertise is in commercial and corporate law, strategic management, innovation and entrepreneurship. He graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, with a Master of Business Administration in 2017. He also holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of Auckland, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Papua New Guinea. Nehemaiah is a member of both the PNG Law Society and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In his current position as Executive Manager-Investments at KCH, Nehemaiah manages Kumul Properties and Kumul Fisheries while overseeing the establishment of Kumul Agriculture Ltd.
